EXTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified candidates to fill various vacant positions in the Administration Division

Position                       :          Transport Officer 

Reporting to               :        Fleet Services Manager

Organization Unit         :       Administration Division

Duty Station                :        Head Office

Grade                           :        D1

Specific duties

§  Proper scheduling for vehicle maintenance;

§  Carrying out fleet management quality controls;

§  Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles;

§  Identifying and reporting any ac vehicle faults;

§  Liaising with Supply Chain Division on vehicles and accessories specifications;

§  Ensuring compliance with Road Traffic laws;

§  Managing vehicle services ;

§  Managing motor vehicle maintenance history;

§  Reviewing performance of service providers.;

§  Certifying service invoices for payment;

§  Protecting and maintaining confidential security information.

Qualifications and experience

§  The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Administration/Management from a recognized and accredited University.

§  Or the  candidate must possess either a  Diploma in Transport and Logictics  or Advanced TEVET Certificate in Automobile Mechanics.  

§  A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
