MAIN FUNCTION
To
provide technical support functions for the operations of MRA ICT Systems and
Applications and ensuring that uptime, performance, resources and security of
the Systems being managed meet the needs of users and business operations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the systems and applications
- Managing systems backup and storage
- Implementing and managing systems security policies and standards for all Servers
- Performing systems monitoring for uptime and resource availability
- Carrying out periodical systems patches
- Support user daily Systems operations
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering from recognized and accredited Universities.
- Relevant ICT Certification shall be a plus
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP and DNS services Good knowledge of Virtualization Technologies
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
